I all hast: Under den (virtuelle) internasjonale bibliotekkonferansen WLIC (også kalla IFLA-konferansen) har dei i dag kåra Deichman i Bjørvika til verdsmeister av året: «New public library world champion named».
Juryen nemner Carl Deichman, og at han ville vore «thrilled to see that his bequest became the foundation for the world’s best new public library in 2021». Dei ventar altså inga fråsegn frå han, men han var ganske godt nøgd alt i 1970.
